Changing Colors of words within Titles

I am looking to change a single word in each title to this shade of green #84c600 I tired putting it inline but when I do this the title line goes over all the text but the green text. I think it is an issue with the spans. I put the styling in a span and the the text is already in a span. I tried creating a class called green-text and applying it to the words but its not working.
