Need to create a static front page/need template advice

Hi,

A friend and I designed a front page for my blog. It’s very stylized and it’s static. It also contains hyperlinks. My actual blog entries would begin on the 2nd page. The front page would remain static. Someone from Mojo Marketplace suggested I use your cobbler template from your HIGHEND theme. I purchased your Highend theme but can’t figure out how to upload the cobbler template. I looked at the cobbler template and am not sure it’s the best template for my intents and purposes. I’m fairly new at this. I’ve attached an image of the way I want my front page to appear.

Would you please
A. recommend a template
B. explain how I can upload that template
C. Let me know if I will have to alter my image and if so by how much.
