Visual Composer Image Frame

When using the Visual Composer and inserting an Image Frame, I am choosing to attach an image with a URL Link, however when I save and update then look at the site it only opens a “thumbnail” image of the PDF I uploaded it’s not loading the PDF for viewing.

1. I uploaded a 4 page PDF and copied the URL from media
2. I open the visual composer on the Newsletter page and inserted an Image Frame, added the image and selected “on click action” Open URL in same Tab then added the link I copied from Media which is http://www.justkeepsmiling.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/1st-Qtr-Newsletter-2014.pdf
3. Saved the in the Image Frame settings box
4. Updated the page
5. Go to my site and clicked on the Newsletter page and the image of the PDF thinking it would open the PDF for viewing but it only opens a thumbnail.

Please advise.
