Social Media Sharing

Hello,

I have a question regarding social media sharing, every time I use the buttons it only displays the links without the images.

Instead I have to make a featured Image and create the same image within the post so that the featured image which is the one I’d like to have shared in social media displays, is there a reason why this happens?

Also if I might add, if there are no images social media looks for the logo or even the avatar of the person who posted :S which is kind of bizarre, and it would really save a ton of time to do it from the page directly and going into each social media to fix…
