Window Size and disappearing text on Mobile

at first i tried making the site responsive, but it looks funny so i turned it off in the highend options. now, the site looks great on mobile with a few issues:
1- right side of the screen is cut off. this happens on ios safari, android chrome and android browser in both portrait and landscape mode. i can zoom in, but can’t zoom out past this point to see the entire screen. Buttons, images and text are cut off
2- there isn’t a text showing on the ios safari. not for buttons, nothing..

checking another page of the site and it seems the same issue is there, but somehow a little different. there is a gray bar blocking out content, but the top menu bar is extended. please look here too: http://www.drsmartphonesdallas.com/home
