Changing the 'Read More' button

Hello ~ I am trying to change the “Read More” button at the end of the blog post to (1) read “Leave a comment” and (2) direct to the post/#comment section. For (1) above, I followed the instructions here: https://hb-themes.com/forum/all/topic/where-to-translate-read-more-link-in-blog-carousel/ and updated the “Read More” text on the shortcodes.php file, but the change is not being reflected on the site. The site is located at http://bookofflores.com. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. I am using the HB parent theme.
