Setting Up The Store

I am having trouble setting up my store. I am using Highend, and do not see options to connect my shop pages (products, featured products, categories, and other elements) to my home page and other pages. I need my site to be set up primarily as a store. I used the Home-Shop page as a starting point to begin my home page, but as I am working, I do not understand how to turn that into a store. Can you help me with that? Thank you!
