Cannot Update Highend Appearance Settings

Hello….
I installed HighEnd without any noted error messages but I cannot update any of the settings located in Appearance>Highend. When I go to change the Favcons, for example, I click on the “choose file” and nothing happens. I also cannot delete the existing Favcon as the “X” does not work. I have tried eliminating the plugins, but that also does not work. I have also tried eliminating other themes – no luck. In testing other themes, I do not have the difficulty updating their respective appearance settings. I am running a multi-site with sub-directories based on the need to have separate subject matter blogs and site areas. What is strange, is that this is a recent problem over the last two – three weeks. I even started the site over from scratch – but no luck.

Hope you can help; absolutely love the Highend theme – but, running out of time to get something working and definitely out of ideas here.
