Buttons are cut off at bottom

Hey there. I am having a weird issue with how buttons display. When I add a button, it looks fine. When I add a link, the bottom of the button is cut off. I have checked in Safari, Firefox and Chrome. Likewise, I have tried different button styles but get the same result.

In the attached image, the top button has no link. The bottom button has a link.
