Want a sidebar on blog, but not on search page

While I was attempting to remove the sidebar on the search while following this thread: https://hb-themes.com/forum/all/topic/remove-sidebar-from-results-page/#post-155429 it removed the sidebar from the blog page (which I want, as the only area for a sidebar on the site).

How can I have the sidebar established on the blog, while removing it from the search page? Even when I try to add a sidebar option solely on the blog, something is now translating and it doesn’t appear. Please help clarify this, please.
