Trouble changing homepage color?

Hey, so I am using the live customizer for the highend wordpress theme which helps me easily change background color of all the pages. And when I save this progress and leave to go to a different page I see it still has whatever I saved it to (which is perfect). However, when I go back to the homepage, it seems to be the only page not saving the color; it just reverts back to white.

If anyone has an idea why this is I’d love to hear it.
