Product Page image too large

Hello again. Since my last post I finally upgraded to a virtual private server and notice improved response times. I also got Cloudflare and caching setup on my site! However my next and current pain is product image sizes on my WooCommerce store.

I’m looking for a way that I can scale down the boundry area when viewing a product image. The print-on-demand service that I use generates 1000x1000px images to my knowledge and they appear to render full scale on the site when viewed from a desktop/desktop type screen resolution. Is there a way to scale that down to about half so that say a 11-13″ laptop can see the whole photo without it being cropped off the bottom edge of the screen?
