construction mode

Bought this theme and was so excited. I have spent 7 hours trying to get it setup. I have had to wipeout my wordpress install 3 times, try and load the demo content for Highend 4 times, then tried the alternative, manual way, to no avail. Now the only thing my site is selling is Highend because I still cannot get the construction mode to block the demo content. All the configuration wants to do is save forever. I have modified my wp-config.php file each time to no avail. I found that i needed to go into the backup option and restore defaults. All that wants to do is sit there and save, waited for 45 mins but all it kept doing is showing me the little animated saving bars.

The marketing materials are great, but setting this thing up for 7 hours even at the most basic level is not what I bargained for. Thought since my hosting company, Powweb, through mojo had your theme it would work far better than the other option I was considering, X. Please let me know that you can help so that I can get something on my site other than advertising for you.
