Font and background issue

1) Is there a quick way to have every page have a white or transparent background. rather than the default “slight grey” background. ex: on the shop page, under background settings i tried a white or transparent background, but it doesnt change on front end.

2) Is there a way to manage the sizes of the footer. Or reduce the font size. I had a custom code to change the paragraph font size, which was good, but it changed the footer size too. Can only the footer be manipulated.

3) I have updated the social links. yet in the footer, when i add the social links widgets only facebook gets displayed.
