Theme update

I am needing to add the following code to my theme template for the user generated submission plugin

<?php if (function_exists(‘user_submitted_posts’)) user_submitted_posts(); ?>

I am not a developer and don’t know how to add this to the theme or where.

Also I am scared of crashing the site

Could you please advise me on how I add this?
