Full Width Sticky Header: Appears cut off on minimal theme

I’m using the minimal theme with the sticky header option, which you can see here: http://23.235.208.135/~mendel8/

However, when I get to the top, yes, the header does stick, but the left side doesn’t have the white background color and it seems the navigation is starting from the left-center, instead of the far left. Anyway to improve upon that?

I already made some CSS changes myself, as follows:

}
