Cant Change background of website

Hello,
I’ve been trying to find a option or button where i can change the background of my website because all i am getting is a gray background (it used to be the highend gem logo , which idk why that was.. until i started messing with the redirection of the background in CSS.. well is there a way to easily put my background picture??
