Anchors suddenly not working

We are about to launch our site and the anchors are suddenly not working.

We have buttons on the pages that allow reader to jump down the page to an anchor point. They were working fine and now they are not.

I have tried creating a new button with a link to a new anchor (using highend shortcode), but it didn’t work either.

I need to understand what is happening. Help is greatly appreciated.

I see that this is only happening in Chrome, not firefox.
